Friends - For a safe and enjoyable night out go with friends or a society you trust. This can be tricky, especially at the beginning of your university experience but a good rule is if they give bad vibes sober they are gonna be even worse 8 jagers in.
Understand your limits. Start slow - don't be that person passed out on the sofa before the Uber has even turned up (been there done that x).
Confrontation. Don't do it, it’s probably not that deep.
Know your surroundings. Unfortunately with spiking and sexual assault ever present in University club culture, this is, unfortunately, a necessary precaution. Saying this, the real issue lies with the perpetrators. You do not owe anyone an explanation for your boundaries and autonomy and you do not need one from anyone else.
Enjoy yourself. Seems self-explanatory but have a good time. On the other hand, don't force it. Night-outs can be expensive and exhausting. If you're not feeling it, a night in can be just as fun.
Dixys. Arguably the best way to finish the night. Curly fries and garlic mayo remains unbeaten.
